Urology for Young Professionals
The SRU («Swiss Residents in Urology») is the association of urology residents in Switzerland. We are committed to ensuring strong training in urology, advocating for the interests of residents, and connecting the next generation of urologists in Switzerland. To achieve this, we offer various educational events and represent urology residents at the political level. Our goal is to support residents on their path to specialization and foster a strong professional network.

Am 9. November fand der erste Nephrostomiekurs der SRU im Luzerner Kantonsspital statt. Junge AssistenzärztInnen hatten die Möglichkeit, mehr über die Grundlagen, Materialien sowie Tipps und Tricks zur Nephrostomie-Einlage zu lernen. Zudem konnten sie üben und selbstständig eine Nephrostomie an einem Modell durchführen. Wir möchten uns herzlich bei Uromed AG für die Unterstützung bedanken, ebenso bei BK Medical und Fujifilm für ihre Hilfe. Ein besonderer Dank geht auch an unsere Referenten – Anne Neuenschwander (KSSG), Phillipp Baumeister (LUKS) und Pirmin Wolfsgruber (KSA).
